Inaugural Meeting: Pool Planning Committee
The planning committee that will carry forward the pool project had it's first meeting on June 4, 2019 at 7:00pm in the TRCC Multipurpose Room. The core committee was assembled based on individuals who had expressed interest in participating in the planning process when the call for volunteers was first issued.
Committee Chair Kathy Valentino presented the presentation included below that outlines the structure of the pool committee and it's subcommittees, progress so far, and projected timelines for the project:

Public Hearing - Norplex Pool: March 7, 2019
Mayor & Council, along with members of administration, hosted a public meeting on March 7, 7:00pm in the Letkemann Theatre to present to present the facts behind the decision to close the Norplex Pool, as well as answer resident’s questions about the closure and the path moving forward. Below you can find the PowerPoint slides that were presented to the public, along with the original poster promoting the public meeting.
Refunds - Passes, Punch Cards, and Lockers
Residents who had registered for the upcoming session of swimming lessons will receive a full refund. Monthly pass holders and locker renters will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. Both will be refunded within 30 days of the original pool closure.
Residents who purchased punch cards can return them to the TRCC Front Desk. Refunds will be pro-rated and processed within 30 days. Please do *not* bring them to the Norplex Pool.
Residents who have belongings in pool lockers can contact the Norplex Pool Front Desk at 204-677-7963 to make arrangements to retrieve them.
