 TRAILS:

Millennium Trail 
  • A 15 kilometre crushed gravel trail for walking, biking and skiing, loops around the city. The trail was built in 2000/2001. 
Spirit Way 
  • Spirit Way is a shorter (2.3 kilometre) walking trail with points of interest along its route.
Thompson Community Trails
  • These trails support cross-country skiing from late November until March. Trail running/biking/walking can begin usually June until September.
Trails Outside the City 
  • Mystery Mountain Winter Park has 20 km of cross-country trails and is located 22 km north of Thompson on PR #280. 
  • Paint Lake trails found 32 km south of Thompson on Highway #6. 
Ski-doo Trails 
  • There is a snowmobile trail looping around the City of Thompson and access to businesses within the city (gas stations, hotels, etc). The loop also connects to trails to the north and south of the city i.e. to Paint Lake. 
ATV Trails 
  • The City has a system of ATV trails.
