The Thompson Golf Club is a picturesue nine hole golf course situated approximately 3 km north of the city. The course plays 2640 yards from the red tees, 3216 yards from the whites, and 3321 yards from the blue tees. Various wildlife, including the Canada Goose, can be seen on the course, also the odd bear or fox can be seen. The club offers a great clubhouse with a relaxed, informal atmosphere. A C.P.G.A. golf pro is also available to help you with your game or merchandise you might need.
The course is renowned for it excellent condition and it's greens are among the best in the province. Carved out of the rugged northern terrain, the course continues to improve each year.
