Paint Lake Provincial Park

Located 32 kilometers south of Thompson on Highway 6 has five bays of campsites (one with power), day picnic sites (also sheltered sites for rainy days), two boat launches, dock space, cross country hiking trails, a baseball diamond, fitness trail, a beautiful beach area and two warm up cabins equipped with wood stoves for indoor picnicking. In the winter there are groomed snowmobile trails, ice skating, one toboggan run, ice fishing and ice fishing derbies.

Manitoba's largest marina is located at Paint Lake. It offers a lounge, licensed restaurant, convenience store as well as cabin, boat, and canoe rentals. Fishing guides are available upon request. The park extends over 56,000 acres of Precambrian Boreal Forest and the lake itself is 5 miles wide and 25 miles long.

Paint Lake is also home to many cottage owners. To learn more about Paint Lake you can visit www.paintlakecommunity.ca
